Excluding the official soundtrack, what songs remind you of Kakurenbo or Kakurenbo characters and why? Shy Boy by Jordin Sparks reminds me of the characters pretty well in a "going to catch you" sort of way and each lyrical character matches with a Kakurenbo child. Example:Singer (Jordin Sparks) - Oshira-sama (Sorincha) Fly Boy - Suku Bad Boy - Noshiga Rock Boy - Tachiji Home Boy - Inmu and Yanku Cowboy - Yaimao (his part's short  ) Shy Boy - Hikora Listen to the song and tell me you don't hear it? Yeah, this is what being a fan of something does to me...I find songs that sort of but not really fit with the subject and make them work. XD

Yeah, this is what being a fan of something does to me...I find songs that sort of but not really fit with the subject and make them work. XD I don't know what to say, but I got a lot of reminders of Kakurenbo's characters. Every theme song reminded of them all when I listened to them. Chou (Fatal Frame II) reminded me a lot about Sorincha: Oshira-Sama's theme is from Okami's Nine Tail Fox: Second song reminded me a lot of her in Skullgirls' song of the final boss: Team Chaotix reminded me of Noshiga, Taichiji, and Suku. Noshiga as Vector Taichiji as Espio Suku as Charmy Tail's theme song reminded me a lot of Taichiji: This reminds me of Hikora and Yaimao through the beat from Guilty Gear: Sora's theme reminded me of Hikora (separately): Riku's theme reminded me of Yaimao (Separately): Amaterasu's theme reminded me of Chitori: The boss theme from Okami reminds me a lot about the Oil Takers: Okami's boss Spider Queen theme reminded me a lot about Kotori: Oki's theme reminded me a lot about Imnu and Yanku: PS: I do apologize for the posting, every song reminded me of Kakurenbo a lot since I first listened to a lot of songs. |

Wow, that's really cool. XD I only recently watched Kakurenbo so I haven't found many songs for them yet. When did you first watch the movie?

Since it came on Adult's Swim and it was my first favorite show of all times. They always show it a lot every October, the memories remained fresh in my mind. |

I bought the thing lol.. I had wanted to since I read anarticle bout how awesome it was in a magazine a long while back and made it a goal to get it lol.. XD
I agree with the tracks from ookami lota good music in that one. I dunno.. I just picture sometihng still traditional but soo much creepier for Kotori. lol I'll find examples of some stuff when I finish eating.. just got up from a snooze lol.. ^_^;`` srry guys.

Yeah, I think as long as you up the characters ages or turn the song into a "Oshira wants Hikora to be the next Oni", it works out smoothly. and a yup to the fatal frame one.. kinda can see the sonic ones.. but not really.. for oshira.. I see a LOT of the mustic they'd use at matsuri's honestly XD yeeep.. that's bout right in my mind..
