Kakurenbo: The Asylum of Hell

Kyoki felt Sorincha hugged her tightly and she risked her life to do what is right. She never realized it was going to get worse for her, and she knew she would risk it all. She tried to hold her emotions when she heard Sorincha crying. She holds onto her like she was her daughter as she cried.

"Please stop crying!" said Kyoki as she cried, "Please stop..."

The moment was very touching for her when the medical staffs looked at her very strangely when they heading to the cafeteria for their punishments. She doesn't seem to care what they think. She did it for a good reason when she holds onto her and doesn't want to say a word. She doesn't want Sorincha to cry or get upset, and doesn't want to think about it. Kyoki has a reason why she wanted to do it so badly, but she wanted to protect them from harm's way. She wanted to protect them from Aka's wrath and she doesn't want them to become his next victims of his experiment.

"We have to make sacrifices," she whispered into Sorincha's ears as she hold her tight, but she never realized the moment will be ruined when Kimotori marched onto them, "I came here to keep you all safe and get you out..."

"Kyoki!" said Kimotori in concerned, "Let me take over your punishment..."

"No, I am doing this one for the sake of the children's safety," said Kyoki as she tried to calm Sorincha's down as she whispered into Sorincha's ears, "Please don't cry!"

Kimotori frowned with disappointment when he tried to reason with her in anger when she stared at her.

"Kyoki, it would wise for you to not care!" yelled Kimotori in anger, "Because you are going to be in pain for what he is going to do YOU! I know him more than I DO! You heard when he sang, he caused Kotori to go insane! If you love children so much, it would be wise to keep distance."

Kyoki ignored him when he tried to reason her to not love them as her own children. She gave him the glare and looked at Kimotori in disgust. She won't give up on loving them when he was right, but she doesn't understand why she immune to Aka's singing voice. Kimotori and the others aren't, it caused them to become insane when he sang to them.

"Kimotori, why do you still love me?" said Kyoki as she walked on by when Kimotori paused for a second, "If we don't got nothing in common... I love kids and you don't love them at all! You used THEM to light up the city and we knew that the city won't last long if this keeps up... Why you love me, Kimotori?"

Kimotori didn't reply except he knew she was very stubborn and won't see a child suffered. She refused to be the "Heart Taker" because she refused to see children suffering. He wanted to be with her because he still loved her so much, but he doesn't want to see her get hurt at all. He doesn't want her to be someone's girlfriend or lover, he doesn't want to see her. It hurts so much when he was confused as he saw she walked away from him in anger. Kyoki loved him too except she doesn't like what he was doing in the past. Kyoki blamed it on Oshira-Sama for he became in the past, but she blamed it on herself for falling in love with him in the first place.

"Sorincha don't cry, we are here in front of your brother's new room," said Kyoki as she reached right in front of Yaimao's and Hikora's room except she noticed she doesn't have the keys.

"You forgot this!" said Kimotori walked up to her when he holds the keys and opened it.

Kyoki didn't wish Kimotori's help at all, but he was glad that he has the keys. She watched him open it right in front of her before she placed Sorincha into the room and Kimotori went inside.

"Be strong, I will get you out of here," said Kyoki as she smiled and tears streamed down her face, "Please..."

He doesn't want to look at her or answers her question at all. Kyoki walked away from the room and hoped that Kimotori changed as possible. It doesn't mean that she loved him right now in her mind when she doesn't have the heart forgive him.

"Why do I love her?" said Kimotori out loud as he kneeled down as he frowned.

Hikora cried in his Yaimao's arm when he didn't realize Sorincha was in the room right now. Yaimao was trying his best to prevent him from going insane as he patted him down on the back.

Hikora flinched as he stopped crying to see his sister snuggled next to him.

"Sorincha?" said Hikora in shock as he was happy to see her again and cried when he hugged her.

Yaimao sighed when he watched two siblings reunited.

He doesn't know what to say when he looked at Kyoki when she left the room, but Kimotori decided to stay in the room. He wasn't going to leave them out of his sight, but he doesn't understand why he was doing it. Yaimao watched Kyoki left and Kyoki seemed to understand Sorincha meant. Yaimao yawned when fell asleep, but he wondered why he got the feelings all of the sudden. He decided to keep them warm when he picked Hikora and Sorincha up and put them on the bottom of the bed. He picked Yaimao and placed him down at the end and made sure that he doesn't fall down from the end.

"Why am I doing this?" said Kimotori in his mind as he covered them with a huge warm blanket.

Kimotori got feelings for her and he knew that demons don't have no souls to human. He wasn't trying to impress her except he wanted to ask Kyoki forgiveness. As he watched them sleeping peacefully as he began to think of them as his children except he says that demons don't got no soul. There was something causing him to become different when he stared at Sorincha like his own daughter.

"Sorincha, why are causing me to suffer?" said Kimotori as he looked away from her.

He can't stand it when he looked at her, he doesn't want Kyoki to see the children suffer. He was suffering on his own when he looked away from them and stared at his reflection of his true demon form. He felt angry when he slammed his head on the mirror breaking it, he wanted to feel pain like a human. When he banged his head continually without trouble except it caused Yaimao to stop Kimotori from hurting yourself.

"Don't!" said Yaimao to Kimotori.

"IT'S YOUR FAULT FOR CAUSING ME TO BECOME DIFFERENT!" Kimotori yelled in anger as tears streamed down his face, "I HATE MYSELF FOR HAVING A SOFT SIDE FOR A HUMAN! I HATE IT!"

Kimotori loved Kyoki, but he doesn't love himself because he can't feel pain. As he broke down as he never felt pain, but there were changes inside of him. He wanted to try to think his old demon ways except he began to have a feeling something was holding him back. As he cried loudly and he knew the staff will ignore him. He never realized that his emotions would wake up Sorincha.

Kyoki was going to keep Sorincha's promise if she came across Kotori, but she knew in her mind that she has to keep the twins together. If he allowed her to keep themselves if she have to be tortured by him again or more. Kyoki's tears streamed down herself when she saw "true" form reflection right in front of the mirror. There was nothing wrong in her nurse form except something was wrong when she hated for what she became. She walked stronger when she was heading into the room where she was always tortured a lot. She saw the staffs went on by and murmured, "Lucky Shofu". She was very much hurt it had to come to this when she was heading to the room where he was waiting on.

"I am doing it for the children," she said with confidence.

As she sat down on the edge of the bed and waiting for her punishment. She cried when she took off her clothes and covered herself in multi-blankets on the bed. She hated hearing the staff made fun of her as she cried in a room with a distasteful color that she doesn't enjoy. When she was reminded of Aka Manta in her mind as she doesn't want the children to suffer at all. She is suffering for them and for them alone, but not for herself.

"I am doing it for the children," she cried.

Kotori cried when she saw the staff gathered together in the cafeteria room, they sat down on their cafeteria room. They noticed two dishes covered up right in front of them and wondered what punishment awaits for them. Aka Manta showed up as he smiled evilly at them, but he frowned that Kimotori didn't show up. He chuckled when he made his entry on the stage with his singing voice, but it caused Kotori to twitch as she tried to keep her mind sane.

He chuckled when one nurse offered him a cigar, he accepted it and he snapped his figure. The staff disguises were gone revealing their true selves except the "female" adults were expected to be spare this time. It doesn't work this time when they tried to shower him with gifts except it doesn't work at all. He ignored the gifts right behind him as they burst into flame by another adult and they were very sad. The "male" adults weren't much fond of him for being seductive, but corrupting the women working him. They feared him for their lives, but doesn't understand.

"You know why we are gathered here for?" said Aka Manta as he smiled.

His eyes glowed from his golden mask, and he knew he was expecting the big crowd as he sang beautifully to them with "DOREMI" causing Kotori to cringe. The adults were scared for their lives and wondered what was going to happen.

"TO celebrate the job well done!" he said in a compassionate except he wasn't, it caused everyone to become confused, "I know what everyone is thinking, why am I rewarding such "wonderful" staff for capturing the patients!"

Kotori knew the other demons were present here and knew what was going to happen when the adults smiled with pride, but the others knew that they were going to be the victims. Some adults don't know what will happen next while Aka noticed a few adults were missing. He knew that they committed suicide to avoid their punishments, but it doesn't matter to him. The “adults” could easily be replaced when he saw them getting very reckless. He wasn’t much compassionate to them except he used them as his personal soldiers or slaves as he referred. He noticed the adults were given into his tone.

“Idiots,” said Kotori in her mind, “Don’t you realizing he isn’t compassionate or cared.”

Aka Manta chuckled evilly when he saw them give in to his speak and said, “Here’s my “reward” to you, you have a choice of blueberry pie or Strawberry Shortcakes.”

The adults opened and gave in to the temptation before they were able to eat.

“The blueberry pie stand for promotion, but the strawberry shortcakes stand for a raise,” he said tempted them, “Choice one at the time or otherwise none love a greedy person…”

Kotori witnessed when everyone decided to eat one of the two desserts. She looked away when some adults ate the whole blueberry pies except they tasting acids forming from their mouths. The blueberry pies were eating through the tables and their hands. They began to panic when they felt the acid from eating up. She watched when the adults felt sick to their stomach when they began to explode from the incident after one bite from the shortcake. They began to complain when they taste their reward while others refuse to eat it because they knew that it was a trick. Aka Manta chuckled when he heard their suffering and doesn’t seem to have the compassion at all when he never loved spending his money on their checks. He loved to make their lives a living hell as he couldn’t hold his laugh at all.

“You are expecting me to do something “nice” to the “Worse” staff in the world!” said Aka Manta in anger, “You are expecting me to do it if you FAILED TO CAPTURED THOSE BRATS! YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES FOR WHAT HAPPENING RIGHT NOW AND YOU ARE LUCKY NONE ATE THEIR DESSERTS!”

He chuckled when the adults suffering from their punishment when he watched some trying to get a glass of water from the fountain. He was glad that he was able to replaced it with something pleasant when the water was replaced with disturbing liquid. He chuckled when they died one by one and doesn’t care. He applauds for some who survived and chuckled evilly.

“How would you prevent this from happening?” said Aka Manta to his workers in a serious tone.

“But we tried our best!” said a female “Adult” as she dragged herself with one arm as her other arm was eaten away by acid.

“TRY YOUR BEST? I am expecting to give you 100%, but not failure,” said Aka Manta as he smoked his cigar when another female adult light his cigar before she died, “I hoped you won’t make the mistake again because I am not going to waste my money or time on failure. Your checks have been docked after this moment and you will have to fight for your lives for the second time.”

Aka Manta puffed out smoke from his nostrils, and he sang a beautiful song causing the floor to shake. They flinched in fear when they heard the cart from the background and Kotori was corrupted once again. When she was forced to “punished” them with the “other” demons minus Kimotori. She frowned when it has to come to this when he sang beautifully when he summoning demons to finish the job. He departed from the cafeteria as the double door slammed as he turned to another adult.

“Replaced them by tomorrow,” he said as he headed into the room where Kyoki, “cleaned the mess in the cafeteria before I gets angry…”

The adult saluted when he headed back into the cafeteria to made sure the injured adults were killed, but others to clean the mess who did not eat their “reward”. Their miserable punishment was only the beginning as a few escaped with the injured. There were others who ended up dying in the cafeteria.

Hikora understand what Sorincha's meant when he heard it, but hugged her closer to him. Yaimao doesn't understood when he slept peaceful when they woke up to hear screams in terror. Kimotori didn't replied when he replied, he knew more about Aka Manta than the others.

"None of them is human," said Hikora to Sorincha as he calmed down, "Please don't worry Big Brother and Yaimao will protect you from them..."

He doesn't know why he have the feeling and he hoped they weren't see in cry in disguise. Yaimao walked over Hikora and Sorincha and doesn't want to separate them. Kimotori frowned when he thought about Kyoki, but he was forced to change back to his demon form. It was too much for him in his human form when he was glad to show no emotions. He was going to leave except he decided to stay and watch over them.

"I do," said Yaimao as he replied when he rubbed his right eye, "I do believe you, but can we go to sleep... Sorincha-Chan..."

Hikora didn't replied when he fell asleep as he hold Sorincha's closer to him and Yaimao sighed when he fell asleep as well. He doesn't want to see them get separated by the staff as they heard the adults screamed. Kimotori watched when he saw them and stood there like a statue as he watched them.

"I hope Hikora believed as well," said Yaimao frowned.

Hikora doesn't like it when he heard Arokih laughing in his mind. He tried to closed his eyes, but he ended up having nightmares. He have nightmares when he heard their screamed and tried to sleep peacefully without any problem. He heard Oshira-Sama taunting him in his mind and Arokih warned him.

"What are you going to do?" said Arokih to them.

Hikora didn't replied when he didn't say a word to Arokih, and he doesn't trust him yet. He is a new personality to him, but his mind felt unease when he thought about his friend and sister being separate. He woke up see Kimotori stood there like a statue as he watched them.

Kyoki flinched when the door opened in the room and saw Aka Manta. She frowned when she was force to do it. She hated him to the core what he did to the others, and she saw through his mask. He walked to her very slowly when he prepared to "Do" the deal exchange for her plead. She closed her eyes and flinched as she felt pain. As she began to become "Experiment", she cried for Kimotori and the others, she cried for the children until he was "Done" with her and he left her in the room. Aka smiled victorious as he left the room, but she cried as she pressed the pillow down her face.

"THe deal is done, and I will make sure they "won't" escape from you," said Aka as he put on his clothes, "I will keep the twins together, but... You are lucky that your body is a Wonderland or else I will experimented them by corrupting their mind..."

There were scars on her disguise and she said in her mind, "All for the children..." She feels the pain like a human as she was forced to change back into her demon form, she won't feel the pain. She fell asleep as she thought about what will happen tomorrow.

"But first, I would have to replaced the Boy's right eye with one of mine," said Kyoki in her mind, "He is going to need it..."

Kimotori woke up from his statue state as he was forced to change into his disguise when he heard the footsteps.

"Stay put, Sorincha," he said calmly as he looked away from her.

Hikora flinched to hear footsteps and saw Sorincha, "Sorincha... Get under here..."

He doesn't know what was going on now, but he have to protect his sister and friend from something.

"Oshira, I mean Sorincha, Hikora get back to your beds!" said Kimotori threatening tone.

"Not until you tell us!" said Hikora hostile as he and Kimotori gave each other the glare.

Meanwhile with Kyoki, Kyoki changed back into her human form when she get off the bed and switched onto her robe hanging from the ceiling. She doesn't care if she have to be blind from one eye, she have to sacrificed one of her eyes to give another. It would have to do for now when she grabbed a bag from the shelf and opened it up to revealed to be the surgery. She took out a paper with the application and wrote it down by forging Aka's hand writing.

"I hope it is worth it," said Kyoki in her mind when she examined the letter.

From outside of her room, the "new" staffs went on by, but flinched to hear her screaming in pain. She did what she have to do to give the eye, but she made sure that she makes it similar to Yaimao's blind eye.

Kimotori doesn't want Sorincha or the others to get hurt when he knew Kyoki would do something like that. He doesn't feel the pain, but he frowned when he gave Hikora the glare. Yaimao was sleeping soundly without any trouble except he flinched to wake up. He doesn't know what was going on, but he noticed Kimotori's tears stream down from his face. Kimotori looked away from them when he doesn't want them to know that the demons have feelings.

"Kyoki, why do you have to do it?" murmured Kimotori, "Sacrificing part of your body to give another, that's suicide."

The footsteps stopped and he shielded Sorincha's eyes as he saw Aka Manta's form. As he flew past their door as he laughed evilly when he grabbed an "adult" by wrapping him around his body. As he enjoyed his new meal as his eyes glow and the red aura came out of his body. As he began to sing, Kimotori struggled to control his emotions. He forced to push Sorincha on the floor as he covered his ears.

"Sorincha!" said Hikora as he rushed to her as he gave Kimotori the glare as he switched to Arokih, "YOU ARE GOING TO PAY!"

Kimotori never realized he would harm Sorincha, but his insanity was more worse. Arokih was getting ready to slashed out Kimotori in anger when he took out the knife.

"Forgive me, Sorincha," said Kimotori as he have to protected them from his insanity form.

When he headed into the closet and slammed it close preventing more harm as his disguise converted back to his demon form. As he gave a monstrous roar that flinched Arokih and Yaimao. Kimotori caused destruction to the closet to unleashed his rage and destroying anything from inside. Arokih was going to teach Kimotori a lesson about harming Sorincha.

"Sorincha, Hikora hide under the bed right now!" said Yaimao to them as the closet door was going to break, "PLEASE!"

Aka Manta chuckled evilly when he departed from the scene, they heard his singing voice fade away as he went further away from their room. Yaimao was ready to protect them when he took out his flashlight as he heard Kimotori roared as he broke through the closet door. Arokih isn't going to let Yaimao steal his battle as he remained by his side.

"Yaimao, I am not a coward, said Arokih as Yaimao flinched when he heard it wasn't Hikora.

Yaimao asked, "Who are you?"

"Kill me before I kill you!" said Kimotori as he warned them when his rage was getting the best of him.

Kimotori's head was full of dark thoughts when his mind began to become insane as the song was stuck inside his head. He roared.

Kyoki sighed when she covered herself with bandage to cover her left eye and placed her eye into a liquid. She looked down at the cleaned surgery instruments was dirty with her black blood. She frowned when she was forced to clean up before they noticed as she thought positive for tomorrow. She decided to go on to sleep at the meanwhile, she heard Kimotori's roar as he began to become insane. She was too exhausted for what happen as she fell asleep face down, but she wanted to help except the damage was done from Aka Manta. As she lies face down on the floor with sadness in her eyes.
