Jadeite mused on what his brother had said for a moment. He had to agree that perhapse the range of the areas each of them reigned over extended beyond asia itself. Even so, he remembered seeing something that Zoisite might not have.
'What you say seems to be true brother, but Beryl might not have been entierly all that dumb either. Nephrite had scar marks he's been hiding around his neck. She might have been trying to take conrtoll of him by some means before she was destroyed.'
He looked to his younger brother, blue eyes looking seriously into his. He'd untill now completely forgetten about this and it could be the very thing to cost them all thier lives if they didn't address it now.
'If something like that happens to anyone on our side and is taken by the other gods and beings, the consequences could be potentially dire. Especially so if it's any of our major players in this 'ungodly chess game' were forced to fight or be even made example of by these Greek bastard!' He slammed his fist down on the desk infront of him in his fit of consternation.
'I worry that there may not be time left now brother. We will have to speak with O-Inari and Kin O-kami now, but as far as I know, the enemy might already be advancing upon us as we speak.'
It was then that the doorbell rang.

Saki was suprised by the feeling and her eyes went wide. She began to breathe hard, her heart beating faster now. Once the innitial shock was over, realizing it was just the other youkai, she made a low sound (whickering/nickering) , showing she realized it was only her friend and not a threat.
'Oh, it was just you being playful Aobozu.' She smiled but was also curious now at what Aobozu had said.
'You said 'I can help in many ways'. What exactly do you mean by this?' She cocked her head a bit inher wonder.

Laying a hand on his brother's shoulder, Kunzite gently kept Nephrite down.
"We will, but not now," he said, "You're tired and worn, Nephrite. You need rest. Besides, out of all of us, you're heart is the most tender, the most caring. While Zoisite might wear his emotions on his sleeve, you are the one who feels them th most deeply. So rest a while. I'll see if Makoto can come to keep you company."

"Perhaps," Zoisite said seriously, "However, I believe we are stronger now, Jadiete, stronger then we have ever been, both in body and mind and heart. Plus we have our loved ones to keep us safe. WIth Beryl...we only had each other, were one or two went the others followed because we wanted to stay together. Now, all of us, our lovers and children and friends would have to make that jump with us, and that would never happen."
At the doorbell ring, Zoisite looked over.
"Now I wonder who that could be," he mused.

"Anything that you need doing, I am here for you, sweet Saki," Aobozu said, "If you're sad or alone, I will bring you hugs and cuddles and comfort to chase your sadness away, if you need extra strength and cunning behind your arm then I will be your blade, if you feel happy and want to share it with someone, I am here for you. No matter what you need you may depend on me. I won't go anywhere and I won't let you down."

Nephrite Nodded and breathed deeply, letting his tense body relax a bit in his bed. He nodded to his older brother.
'Thankyou Kunzite. I'd appreciate if you could do that for me.'
He faintly heard the doorbell ringing in the distance.
'Someone's here? At this hour?'

'I supose you're right. Maybe I'm just 'jumping the gun' as they call it.' Jadeite was unnerved by the doorbell ringing and the parts of him which held feathers were now fluffed up, a natural reaction to the avian part of him.
Taiki had found the house where Inari said Ami was currently living. It was night now and something in her stirred up a fear to get to safety and in out of the open so, after no one having answered the doorbell after she'd rung it she resorted to knocking on the door as hard and loud as she could.
'Please, let me in! I'm an ally but please let me in! I have a message for the masters of the house!'

Saki moved a little closer towards Aobozu now. She felt oddly at easy with the youkai and yet, she'd only just met him not that long ago. She knew this was odd for her, to be this content and she started to figit nervously in place as she sat.
'What am I doing?.. this isn't like me at all!'

Nuregami took a breath of relief when she woke up from her sleep while Mochi is by her side. She's unsured about what's going to happen.

"Hm, I'll go see," Kunzite said, standing, "Don't worry."
In the other room, Zoisite stood as well and Ami want to the door. She could feel the tenseness in the air but at the sound of the woman's voice she opened the door and peaked out.
"T-Taiki-san," she said, seeing the older woman, "What are you doing out there at this hour? Please, please come in before you catch cold."

Aobozu was silent for a moment and then gently placed his hand over Saki's.
"If I'm going to fast I'm sorry," he said, "I just...you are a wonder, Miss Saki and I...I don't want to risk losing you. You say this isn't like you, but have you ever been loved in this way? Ever felt this safe and comfortable? If not, well there's a first time for everything. Please don't be afraid."
He smiled softly.

Mochi yawned and cuddled up against her mother, snuggling into Nuregami's warmth.

"What are you doing?" he asked, sitting near her.

"...Yeah, good idea," Noshiga said, "Things have been pretty lousy lately. What with work and the children and the...well, you know."
Mouth pressed into a worried line, Noshiga felt a heavy burden in his heart. Sure he was the King of Dreams and a lesser god, but he was still nowhere near Inari's, Orochi's, or the higher gods power. He even had to admit that even Tachiji as Kin Okami was slowly out stripping him. One of his little buddy's was stronger then him and he had a feeling that when Suku returned, his smallest friend would have a new direction and a new power to rival his own...if not surpass him completely.
He sighed. How was he going to protect his family? He would fight of course, he would use everything he was to defend Justine and they're children but still...
"May I join you?" he asked her.

"You may!" Justine said to Noshiga as she smiled, "I talked to Travis and Henry on their struggle and gives them advices to overcome their struggle. Travis had issues with parenting the newborns and getting used to his two wives. Henry is being helpful in other words, but I needed to keep myself from being lustful with the harem family. I asked the others if they wanted to join in and decided to wait until you comes... I wanted the others to have time for themselves to take a break until then I needed to bond with my siblings... So, I'm glad you are here, but I heard your doubts..."
Justine concerned about Noshiga, but she didn't want her husband compared himself to Inari, Orochi, or any higher gods. She knew that Noshiga is the most powerful one of them all due to the controlling of dreams. Maybe Travis and Henry could break him out of the habits on being negative.
