"Oh..... okay." She sat and stared into space for a second. Then she slid down from the bed, and gently placed Tama on her lap. "Ma'am, we found these orphaned cubs in a den. Are they all right? They're only a few hours old.

The doctor knelt down and carefully examined Tama and Kotone. She listened to their little hearts, took their temperatures, and checked their ears, eyes and mouths.
"Well they look to be in pretty good shape," she said, "They're being nicely cared for."
She looked to Kasumi and pet her head.
"Good girl," she said to the mightyena. Seju watched and wagged his tail.
Meanwhile, Kotaro crossed his arms. He didn't like the idea of being under house arrest, even if it was called "Protective custody".

Mylan shot a warning look at Kotaro. Then she smiled sweetly at the doctor, then got up and said, "Thank you for helping us, Ma'am." She held out her hand.
Kasumi picked up the Two teeny Growlithes, and carried them to Seju

The doctor smiled and shook Mylan's hand warmly. Kotaro looked away.
Seju sniffed his children over and then began to lick them clean with his big pink tongue.

When the doctor had left, Mylan began, "Kotaro I know you don't like this...."
Sakura curled onto the bed when her head on Mylan's lap, panting.
Kasumi shook herself, stretched and curled around Kotone and Tama.
Mylan's Dragonair came out of her pokeball and squealed, looking for her friend. She saw Seju and Kasumi's new pups. And she bent down and said, "Congratulations! They're adorable!!"

"Thank you," Seju said to the dragonair.
Kotaro sighed.
"I'm just nervous," he said, "And besides, we won't be able to move on if we're trapped in a safe house."

Kasumi smiled. She said, "The dratini is in one of the pokeballs in the corner." She pointed to the corner where kotaro's bag lay.
The dragonair floated over and began to sift through the bag searching for her friend.
"You know we could refuse their offer." suggested mylan.

Kotaro shook his head.
"We can't, we're minors," he said, "And our parents or guardians aren't around. They're going to lock us up for sure."
He looked over to see the dragonair nosing her way through his bag.
"Hey, cut that out," he said, getting up to stop the dragonair. He picked up his bag and held it to his chest., "If you wanted something in there you should just ask for it."
He rifled around in his bag and pulled out the dratini's pokeball.

The dragonair cocked her head to one side, as if to say, "But, I can't speak............."
Mylan sighed as she pet Sakura's head gently. Sh beckoned to Tamotsu to come to the bed.
Kasumi licked the new pups. They still hadn't opened there eyes

Kotaro gave the dragonair a look and opened the pokeball for the dratini to emerge. The little dragon pokemon twirled in the air and wrapped itself around Kotaro's shoulders, giving him a breif hug before floating over to the other dragon pokemon.
Tamotsu wagged his tails and hopped onto the bed with Sakura and Mylan.
Seju watched over Kasumi and the pups, Tama whimpering quietly.

Kasumi curled closer to the pups, encircling them, and covering them with her tail, to protect then from the cold winter air.
The dragonair chirped and floated, She rapidly began conversing with her long-time friend.
Mylan scratched his ears. Then she got 2 ninetales treats out of her backpack, and fed it to them

Tama slowly stopped whimpering and cuddled close to his mother and sister.
The dratini smiled and wrapped himself around the dragonair, hugging her.
Tamotsu happily ate the treat.

The dragonair chattered. She was happy to see one of her kind.
Sakura gobbled up the treat as fast as lightning. Then she hopped out of the bed, and scratched at the door. She was hoping they could go downstairs for breakfast.
Kasumi slowly began to lick Kotone.

Kotaro didn't speak or move to let Sakura out. He simply sat in a chair with his arms warped around him and would occasionally look out the only window. He didn't feel so good.
