"Wait a minute, my darling," he said after a moment, pulling away. He left and came back a few moments later. He was walking sort of funny.

Yua frowned. Why was he walking funny? She just sat there, not wanting to ask. She fell back into the cushions.

Inmu leaned over Yua, kissing her lips tenderly. He could tell she wanted to ask him something and he had an idea what that something was.
"Go ahead and ask," he whispered lovingly, "I won't get mad."
