You are a brand new pokemon trainer, ready to set out on your journey from your home in the Demon City. You must choose your pokemon and companions wisely in this game for even though the city is currently alive with activity, shadows haunt the alleyways.
Can you survive or will you be trapped in the city forever?
(Special RP rule: You can not choose your starter pokemon. Instead, to make things more interesting, another player will choose for you. Good luck.)

Bio/Personality: Hikaru is a girl who has a knack for getting into trouble. She loves bugs and spiders, making her different from other girls. Hikaru is a girl who speaks her mind, and she's not afraid to start a fight. Hikaru can be rough, but she is kind, if you give her a chance. Unless you have a good reason for interuppting her while she's doing something, watchout.
Goal: To be the pokemon master.
Other: Her past is dark, a mystery. She can talk to pokémon, making everybody call her a freak. The girls hate her. Nobody likes picking a fight with her, unless they want broken bones.
Appearence: Long dark blue hair up to her waist, emerald green eyes, a dark blue hoodie, with a red short-sleeved shirt underneath it, slim jeans, black converse, a dark red hat, dark red bag to keep everything she needs in there, and a black belt to hold her pokeballs.

Gender: Male
Bio/Personality: Idachi is the Minotaur and is the Inner Demon of the Black Cat (Kuro). He rules Treasure Town which is to the east of the Demon City. He has green skin, red, wild hair, red eyes and wears an oxen's skull over his face. He carries around a pole weapon for protection. He is a creature of the beautiful, truthful darkness and is very wise. He is comfortable with killing those who threaten him, his ilk and his city.
Goal: Traveler
Other: He has a connection with dark pokemon and can tame them no matter how wild.

Bio/Personality: Walter is a bit of a late bloomer as a trainer. Having already gotten a well paying job, he was well on his way to a decent life, then his boss was murdered and the police arrested him as the killer! Being innocent, Walter was eventually cleared of the charges, but the damage was already done. Word had gotten around and no one would even call him in for an interview never mind hiring him. That left only two choices, start his own business and try to get people to forget what they thought he did, or try to get out of the city and start somewhere new, and as everyone knows, you can't walk in the tall grass alone!
Goal: Get to a new city and get a job.

Hikaru made sure her hat was on before trying to navigate out of the city. She was going to get a pokemon to call her partner. She always wanted to be a pokemon trainer, and now she is. Well, until she gets a pokemon of course.

(I've talked to the other RPer who is going to join us and she said to go ahead. We'll have a special section in the RP for her when her character shows up.)
Idachi sat on a railing, his pole-arm resting in his grasp as the wind pulled at his hair and clothes. His ox skull mask was protecting his face from the wind and the cold air didn't seem to bother him. He looked down, his red eyes narrowed as he spied Hikaru far below.

Hikaru felt like she was being watched, so she turned around and looked up. She saw Idachi looking at her and froze. A cold wind passed by, whipping her hat off her head. She reached for it, but it was flying higher and higher in the wind.

Idachi saw Hikaru's hat flying by him and his hand suddenly whipped out, snatching the hat with a green hand and square, violet fingernails. He slid from his perch and fell a good distance, landing with a crouch besides Hikaru. Silently, he offered her hat to her.

Hikaru smiled softly, emerald green eyes showing appreciation. She took her hat, placing it on her head. " I'm Hikaru. What's your name? "She stood up, dusting herself off. This kid was mysterious, no doubt about that. She was interested in him though. She wasn't good with socializing though, so she started fidgeting, kicking pebbles.

Idachi was quiet for a moment, looking Hikaru over. He looked at her through his skull mask, appraising her with his red eyes. Then he took a breath, a gentle sigh, and spoke.
"I am Idachi," he said, his voice a soft, breathy whisper, "Are you afraid?"

She blushed slightly. Shaking her head no, she replied, " No. I'm just not good at socializing. Everybody calls me a freak because... because.... " She trails off. Her eyes then turned black, and she kicked a pebble so hard, it broke through an abandoned building's wall. Her eyes turned back into her misty green. She looked back at Idachi, a closed eye smile.
" Well, that's nothing to be curious about. Anyways, why are you here? I'm training to be a pokèmon master. I don't have a partner yet though. " Hikaru sighed. Looking at her empty pokèballs. She looked back at the sky, eyes sparkling in the sunlight. " Just imagine, new discoveries and pokèmon though. " Hikaru smiled. Hikaru sighed, putting her hand out towards the sun. Energy then formed into her hand, making a yellow ball of fire, just like the sun. She faced Idachi, putting her hands toward him, the fireball glowing.
" Just an ability of mine. I'm able to make energy out of anything. " She smiled.
