I want you all to rethink about the movie, especially the characters (Rewatch it if you have to). Give a short summary for each one, separately. Like, why is Noshiga cowardly, did Inmu and Yanku actually expect the demons, because they played this before? Did Sorincha have granted special permission to leave after giving her place to her brother? Stuff like that. If you can, do all the characters, and give a behind the story, about the movie. If you can.

Well, I'll say the first time I watched the movie I assumed that everyone died (even Sorincha) and that there was no hope. I thought the film was the most evil thing in anime and that I never wanted to watch it again.

Then I started thinking about how the characters could be saved. I though about how they could escape, that they weren't really dead and that not all hope was lost. I started the Return to the Tower RP to really work out the hows and whys of this miracle and eventually the characters lived and breathed and stayed alive.

The characters, in my opinion, are probably still alive, just unconcious. If they were dead, then the tower couldn't be lit up.

Yeah. In Return to the Tower we've worked out that all the demons were people/spiritual individuals that entered the city area and got stuck there. They couldn't leave and before they knew it their fates became tied with the city. If there was no power the mechanical parts of their bodies (including some or their internal organs) would cease to work and when half of your heart freezes up you die.
