"The public and a few others considered us a target due to the incidents that we aren't involed," Fritz said to Mike and Jeremy.
"It's related to missing person report or..."
"Please don't bring it up again!" Fritz said as he panicked, but drank his coffee, "At least we could get away from this town and tried to make a fresh start..."
Mike paused for a second as he thought about it before when he agreed with him as he ate the cake.

"There's no evidence," Jeremy said, taking a bite of his sandwich. He left it at that, not really wanting to talk about it either. He chewed and swallowed.
"You know, its weird, all of us being here together," he said, "Like it was planned or something."

"because I called you both here since I planned to go to Japan," Fritz said, "To start a new life and I got two tickets for you both too..." Fritz shows the tickets. |

"Why Japan?" Jeremy asked, taking one of the tickets Fritz offered him. Any place was better then here. The farther away he could get from the burned out pizza place the better.

A blank look crossed Jeremy's face.
"No, I don't" he said, confused, "I just mean, why Japan? Why not Russia or England or Alaska? Is Japan important to you Fritz? Not that I'm complaining of course, Japan sounds nice, I'm just wondering why Japan instead of somewhere else, that's all."

"Well, this is the thanks that I get for trying to find a new life," Fritz said stubbornly, "These were the only tickets available at the time when I entered the contest. I wanted to get away from everything and start a new life here, but I can't share this moment with my friends... Sadly, if you don't want to..."
Fritz took the ticket away from Jeremy except he refused to take it away.
Mike looked down at the ticket and looked at Fritz suspicious, but nodded.
"Well, it's do or died," Mike added as he ate his pastry, "So, did you win the tickets?"
"Hell yes! I won the contest!" Fritz said.

"Oh, so it's just consequence," Jeremy said, looking down at the ticket and stubbornly holding on to it, "Okay, sure, sounds fine. No need to get upset Fritz, I was just wondering. I mean, if we were going to be meeting your mother in law or something, I'd want to be prepared, but as I said, any place is better then here."

Jeremy swallowed his lunch.
"Don't blame me," he said, walking with the others, "You know I've stopped answering the phone. I keep...thinking they'll want me back."
The waitress looked at the tip and smiled softly, deciding that maybe Mike wasn't so bad.
