Since Halloween is coming I challenge all the members to watch Kakurenbo between now and Halloween. You must also watch it at night. Then, after you watch it, write a short story about your reaction to it. The story should be in third person and no more then 1000 words. If you don't have a copy of Kakurenbo you can watch it here: Part One Part Two Part Three Happy Halloween >

actualyl I.. tihnk if I'm remembering right 1st person= I, ME, You, You're etc.
2nd, person: He, she it's ,etc.
3rd person is usually used in story and rp writing like we use here: Eg. Sorincha did this, does that, sees this, goes there etc.

Right, so instead of writing: "I sat at my computer and watched Kakurenbo."
You should write: "Thunderbear sat at her computer, shivering in the dark on Halloween night as she watched Aburatori crash through the wall. She envisioned the two singing the oompa loompa song and screamed in horror."
The whole writing activity is set up to be a story, not an essay. It makes it more fun that way. ;D

Why does everyone seem to hate that guy? I don't know for some reason after he bumped right into Taichiji when Taichiji waited for him and didn't helped him out making Taichiji the first Kimotori's voice. He forced Suku to find another hiding place, but Suku ended up being a second... I just don't like him because of his attitude... He thinks he is very brave, but a coward... I don't like cowards who leave behind their friends to suffer. Noshiga showed that he cared about himself and himself alone in the short film, but in toonwriter's and mine RP he was revived with the others by Rodin, but ended up learning the lesson in Celebrity Death Match and Kakurenbo... crossover RP.

Mm yeah, at some point I feel a little bad for Noshiga. I mean, sure he acts tough and is a jerk but the fact is is that he's actually frightened out of his mind. He can't even help his friends, he so frightened. That's how I look at it anyway.

Who will play hide and seek with me?
The room was dark, the only light coming from the computer screen that the young woman sat before. She was watching Kakurenbo and shivers ran down her spine. It was cold that night, below freezing at 30 degrees and even though she had wrapped her electric blanket around her and turned it up to 11 she still was freezing. It was to cold for this time of the year, to cold.
She turned her attention back to the movie to distract her from the cold.
On the screen, Inmu and Yanku had just stopped running around. They were silent as they looked around, listening and sensing the quietness in the city. Just then, a large crash at the wall sounded and the young woman jumped.
The sound hadn't come from the computer, but from down the hall from her room. Frightened, the woman stood up.
'It's just the living room tv,' she thought nervously, 'I must have left it on and there's an action movie playing or something. There's nothing-'
The power went out and the computer screen went dead.
'Wrong,' the woman thought.
Shaking now, she left her electric blanket and struggled to find her flashlight. After stumbling in the dark a bit she found the flashlight but when she turned it on it flickered and sputtered, needing new batteries.
She heard another crash from down the hall.
'There's someone in the house,' she thought, panicking, 'Oh god, I've got to get out of here!'
Unfortunately, the windows were sealed for winter and the two outside doors were down the hall where the crashing sounds were coming from. If she could make it to the door farthest from the intruder she could run to the neighbors...
Keeping the flickering and dying light at the ground she quietly went down the hall and peeked into the living room. The whole front wall of the living room was missing and a large cannon like drum was sitting on a cart half way into the room. A strange, squeaking demon was tinkering with the machine and the woman trembled.
Aburatori was in her house!
'I'm hallucinating, I'm having a nightmare,' she thought backing up into the hall, 'It's not real it's not-'
She smacked into something and looked behind her. The other Aburatori looked up at her and grinned, laughing squeakily. She screamed.
Everyone has been caught!
