Kojijo curled up with Namiko, his hands gripping her clothes as he broke out in a sweat. Kotaro checked his son over.
"He's changing," he said, surprised.

"No," Offender growled, coughing up blood, "You might think you're all powerful but you're not. I know I don't say it enough but I...I love you alright? I don'twant you to get hurt. If you go I'm coming with you."

Kotaro was concerned as well and asked Daki to get his brother a cold wash cloth so they could cool him down. Gently, he stroked Kojijo's damp, dark hair.
"It's alright," he soothed, "The pain will end soon."
Kojijo panted and clung to Namiko, shaking.

Satisfied, Offender let go of his brother's arm and leaned back against the nearest brick wall. He had talked big but the truth was was that he was horribly injured and needed medical attention, or at least a chance to rest and repair himself. He breathed heavily and tried to get a grip.

While Namiko cared emotionally for their eldest son, Kotaro took care of Kojijo physically. Using the cold cloth, he wiped the boy's face, neck, chest, arms and wrists to help him cool down. It seemed to help a little.
(What type of animal should he turn into?)

Offender slid helplessly down the wall, curling into a ball, his head ducked as he tried to stay conscious. Izanagi healed Offender as he walked on by, but disappeared. |

(lol For a minute I thought you meant that tan girl from Love Hina (I looked Koalla up on google images) But anyway, I think Kojijo will turn into a kangaroo, just because it's a more powerful animal. I could see Daki as a koala though. He seems the cute, cuddly type. That is if you want to, you're the one controlling Daki.)
