"I'm not sure." Mylan tried to pick him, but kasumi curled around him protectively. Kotone ambled up to Seju and startled him. She whimpered

Seji licked Kotone's ears gently and tucked her against him to keep her warm. Kotaro looked at Tama worriedly.

Mylan noticed kotone's eyes were open. She gently 'awwwed' and cuddled her

Seju watched Mylan cuddle his daughter and wagged his tail, panting gently.

Mylan gently brought Kotone to Kotaro. "Her eyes are open!" Kotone barked and wagged her tail, making her whole body shake. She jumped into Kotaros lap

Kotaro chuckled and pet the puppies' wiggling body.
"She's so cute," he said, smiling.

Mylan brought over Tama as well. His eyes were still shut. Kasumi and Seju waited by the floor of the bed

Kotaro pet Tama's head, encouraging the baby to open his eyes.

Tama sneezed. He opened his eyes, which were surprisingly blue, not the color of a normal growlithe's eyes.
He whimpered.
(I just watched it on netflix. its awesome)

Kotaro lifted the baby growlithe and cuddled him, stroking the baby's fur. He was worried that Tama was blind.
"Shh, little one, my little Tama, don't be afraid," he said soothingly, "I won't let anyone hurt you."
Seju crowded close and sniffed Tama, licking his son tenderly.

Kotaro got down on the floor so Kasumi could she her son as he held the warm little baby.
"Why do you think his eyes are blue?" he asked Mylan.

Kasumi nuzzled the tiny cub. Using her nose, she tickled the baby on his white belly.
"I seriously don't know. I thought he was a shiny, but shiny growlithes are yellow." The corners of Mylan's mouth drooped

Tama squiggled, giggling as he was tickled by his mother.
"Well, what makes a shiny a shiny?" Kotaro asked, "It could be possible that certain genes for shinies can be passed through the eyes but not the fur."
