Nanette nodded, blushing as she looked away from Night's penetrating gaze.
"It's nice to meet you," she said, "Um, if it's alright to ask: Why am I the first?"

Nanette tilted her head.
"Well you look very strong, but I wouldn't say scary, per see," she said, "...Why are you wearing armor? Are you a warrior?"

Night said rubbing his fur as dust fell off him he then bit his lip.
"I'm sorry Nanette, I didn't clean myself as well as would like, when I took a swim in the river."
Night said chuckling a bit at himself

"That's alright, I'm sure you don't have much time since you're trying to find a new home," Nanette said, walking closer and sitting besides him, "I'm...searching for something too."

Nanette bit her lip nervously.
"It's a little weird," she said, "I'm looking for something but I don't know what it is...I just have a feeling."

Night said smiling as he looked at the sky.

Nanette blushed again, embarrassed but pleased at being praised. She looked up at the sky as well, trying to see what Night was seeing.
"What about you?" she asked, "What type of home are you looking for?"

"Well I suppose I'm looking for a home with some one I love."
Night said as he saw a shooting star rocket by the night sky and he smiled as he closed his eyes making a wish.

"Oh," Nanette said softly, watching the same shooting star. Her ears lowered a bit, disappointed that Night had said "someone I love" and she assumed he already had someone. However, she decided not to ask. After all, it was none of her business.
"What did...um, what did you wish for?" she asked instead.

Night paused as he scooted closer to Nanette.
"... You and me to hang out and eventually become more then friends."
Night said nervously as he looked at Nanette.

Startled, Nanette stared at him, a blush on her face.
"So you...you like me?" she asked, "Don't you um...darn, don't you already have someone? A big strong umbreon warrior like yourself?"

Night said as he began to sob and eventually started to cry as he remembered how his former beloved broke his heart.

"Oh Night, don't, don't cry," Nanette said helplessly, wrapping herself around him, hugging him. She rubbed her head against his, hoping to sooth him.
