"They are," Kayven said, smiling softly at Myren as the baby rolled over onto his back, showing his soft little belly, "I will always love him though, even when he grows into a big male."

Xander nodded and sat up, his ears twitched slightly, "How big do you think he'll get?"
Noelle reacted to Myren rolling over by swishing her tail around him and putting her paw over her nose in her sleep.

"Well, at least as big as me," Kayven said, his tail swishing back and forth slowly, "Although I'm hoping he'll be strong and healthy. It's want all parents wish for their children. That and kindness."
Myren mewled in his sleep.

Xander smiled at Kayven's answer, then his ears twitched and he looked over at Myren. He got up and cautiously walked over to sniff at him, his tail swayed side to side.
Noelle rubbed her paw over her nose, then settled again.

Myren squirmed and opened his eyes, looking curiously at Xander. He gently pawed the bigger knopfleri's nose with his paws.

Xander paused in slight surprise for a moment as Myren woke up and pawed at him. His ears twitched faintly and he sniffed at the baby again before giving the tiny paw a brief lick.

Myren cooed, squirming gently in happiness at the licking sensation on his paw as he continued to touch Xander's muzzle.
"He seems to like you," Kayven said, his ears flicked forward to here his son's baby coos, smiling slightly.

Xander purred in response and smiled back at Kayven. Then he nuzzled Myren with his nose and groomed his forehead before leaning slightly further to give Noelle a brief lick as well. He kept his head still while the rest of him edged around until he could stand over the little ones, his tail swept round protectively.

Kayven chuckled.
"Thank you, Xander," he said, smiling as Myren closed his eyes peacefully, feeling protected my Xander's larger body.

Xander tilted his head a little to one side as he regarded Kayven with a mildly puzzled expression. A slight breeze ruffled his fur a bit.
