Xander smiled slightly and a purr rumbled through him. His gaze softened a bit. "I was never going to ignore him. You were never alone."
Noelle's ears twitched faintly and she rubbed a paw over her face for a moment.

"I never thought I was," Kayven smiled, "I trusted you'd be here, Xander. You're my best friend, my brother, after all. Now, we should go find some food."
Myren mewled and rolled over, yawning and stumbling to his feet so he could play after his nap. He looked at Xander and licked the bigger knopfleri's nose.

Xander nodded but was quickly distracted from whatever he had been about to say when he heard Myren mewling. He blinked as the little stripey bundle licked his nose, then he chuckled softly and gently nuzzled him in response.
Noelle opened one eye and looked around for a moment, then she opened her other eye, licked her paws and rubbed her face with them.

Myren giggled and hugged Xander's face with his forelegs, nuzzling the older knopfleri in return. Kayven smiled and got up, moving around the group so he could check on Noelle.
"Are you awake, princess?" he asked her warmly.

Xander purred and attempted to groom Myren while the little male was hugging him.
Noelle blinked and looked up. She smiled at Kayven and nodded, then rolled over onto her back and pawed at his front legs playfully. Her tail swished happily.

Myren smiled and let Xander lick his chin and his neck, purring softly like a kitten.
Kayven chuckled and lifted one of his paws, tickling Noelle's exposed belly.

Xander's ears twitched slightly as he continued to groom Myren. His tail swished calmly.
Noelle rolled onto her side and attempted to catch Kayven's paw.

Myrenpurred softly and nuzzled against Xander happily. Kayven tenderly pat his paw between Noelle's paws to play with her.

Xander rubbed the side of his head against Myren as the smaller Knopfleri nuzzled him. "Are you hungry?"
Noelle batted at Kayven's paw playfully, grabbing it and letting go again as her tail swished and curled energetically.

Myren's stomach took that moment to gurgle loudly and the baby looked down at his belly, almost surprised at the noise it made.
Kayven smiled at his son and continued to play with Noelle, taking a moment to lick her ear clean with his soft pink tongue.

Xander chuckled softly and gently pressed his nose against Myren's forehead. "We'll get food soon. Do you want to walk or be carried?
He purred quietly.
Noelle held still as Kayven groomed her, apart from her tail, which continued to swish about happily.

Myren smiled and climbed to his feet, his tail swaying back and forth excitedly. He hopped in place a bit, yipping happily and showing that he was full of energy and ready to walk...at least for a little while.
Kayven chuckled and finished taking care of Noelle, hugging her warmly with his forelegs.

Xander smiled and nuzzled Myren before gently nudging him towards Kayven. He looked around as his ears twitched, then he focused on his stripey friend. "We ready to go?"
Noelle rubbed her head against Kayven's forelegs and sat up to look round at Myren curiously.

Kayven nodded and Myren toddled towards his father and Noelle, making happy cooing noises all the way.

Xander's tail swished as he look around again thoughtfully, one of his ears swivelled to focus on Myren. His nose twitched slightly while he sniffed at the air before turning to the others. "The berry bushes are probably in season by now, do you want to start there?"
Noelle edged towards Myren and pawed at him carefully.
