Myren gave a little mew and nuzzled Xander back, his tail swishing quickly back and forth in happiness.
Travis (the man) caught sight of Noelle's tiny face out of the corner of his eye so he looked down. He smiled and carefully bent down to get a closer look at the little knopfleri.
"Hey there," he said friendlily, while Kayven stayed in his arms and watched.

Xander purred softly to Myren, but kept one eye on Noelle as the human seemed to take an interest.
Noelle ducked back behind some leaves out of surprise, then peeked out again and watched the giant for a minute before stepping closer to sniff at him curiously.

Travis held still, letting Noelle sniff him. Kayven hopped down, gave Noelle a gentle lick and then stayed near her side to comfort her. He looked over his shoulder at Xander, silent.

Noelle looked up at Kayven, then brushed up against him. She looked back at the giant and sniffed at him again before climbing onto one of his giant paws to investigate.
Xander watched what was going on for a while longer before he sat up and made eye contact with Kayven. He carefully lifted Myren, then moved closer to the edge of the bush towards where the others were.
(Sorry! I forgot how to spell the site name again!)

Travis smiled as Noelle checked out his shoe, although he hoped she didn't pee on him or something. He continued to hold still, waiting for her to relax before he risked petting her. She was a cute little knopfleri and he didn't want to needlessly frighten her.
Myren watched Xander walk up besides him with his son and smiled calmly. He licked Myren's ears and then nuzzled Xander to comfort and praise him.
"This man," he said, "Is one of the only humans I trust. He used to feed me carrot snacks at the zoo."

Noelle pawed at the giant's strange paws and looked around before sniffing at him again. Then she tried to nip at his weird fur.
Xander placed Myren on the ground and sat down. The tip of his tail twitched slightly, but he let Kayven nuzzle him while he continue to watch the human. A faint trace of curiosity gleamed in his eyes.

Travis chuckled and slowly bent down to Noelle's level, reaching out a single finger to lightly stroke her fur.
Kayven saw the hope in his friends eyes and smiled.

Noelle noticed the giant moving another, even stranger paw towards her. She stretched up to sniff at it and her tail swished curiously.
Xander shifted around a little, then stretched out his front legs, taking care to avoid Myren. He continued to watch the human.

Travis let Noelle sniff his finger before he tenderly began to pet her head like she was a kitten, gently with one finger.
Myren tumbled over Xander's paws, watching the human and Noelle curiously.

Noelle allowed the giant to pet her, but continued to sniff at him. She pawed at his strange leg fur.
Xander looked at Myren, then leaned down to nudge him with his nose to make sure he was okay.

Travis chuckled and continued to pet the little knopfleri, stroking her hair softly.
"You guys really shouldn't be here," he mused, "With all the bears around lately..."
Myren felt Xander nudging him so he turned back to the other male, a smile on his face as he nuzzled Xander happily.

Noelle tilted her head to look up at the giant, her tail swished idly, then she glanced back at the other Knopfleri. She stood still a bit longer to let the giant stroke her.
Xander purred softly and licked Myren's forehead while he nuzzled him.

Myren purred softly in return and Kayven lay down with them, cuddling with his friend and his little son.
Travis rubbed gently behind Noelle's ears.

Noelle leaned into the touch, then stood on her back paws to try and nip at the giant's weird leg fur again.
Xander relaxed enough to look mildly amused at the events and curled his tail around Kayven and Myren.

Travis chuckled and carefully lifted Noelle, holding her safely against his chest.
"Now don't go eating my pants, I need them," Travis said, momentarily imaging himself walking through the woods with holes in his pants...holes...
"Good thing your not a human girl," Travis muttered, blushing.
