Ruwen stood at the mouth of a large cave with Thiel perched on her shoulder. The two looked into the dark cave and then looked at the girl besides them.
"Do we have to go in there?" Ruwen asked while Thiel chirped nervously.

The wind brushed the dark hair from the girl's eyes, which were shockingly gray. Celeste lifted her chin stubbornly and said, "Sure, who knows what's inside?" Century flew into view and perched onto Celeste's shoulder, and gave a supporting screech. She spread her wings outward.

Frightened by the falcon and her screeching, Thiel hid under Ruwen's hair. He pressed his warm and feathery body against the side of the young woman's neck and trembled. Ruwen raised a hand to hold the tiny bird close.
"That's what I'm afraid of," she said to Celeste, "There could be a number of beasts in there or many even robbers!"

Noticing the teeny bird was frightened, Century folded her wings by her side and began chirping softly to soothe the sweet bird. Celeste punched the air and said, "We'll fight them. It'll be fun!!" She glanced at the girl next to her.

Theil cautiously peeked out from under Ruwen's hair, peering carefully at Century. He chirped back questioningly in response.
"I don't really see how hurting anyone could be labeled as fun, but I suppose we can at least protect ourselves if need be," Ruwen said to the other girl, shrugging.

Ruwen hesitated for a moment and then followed the other girl. Theil took a chance and flew off after Century, chirping quietly and asking her to wait for him.
"I forgot to ask, what's you name?" Ruwen asked.

Century hovered for a moment, then stopped. She dropped to the floor.
Celeste turned and said, "Celeste, What's yours?"
