Ruwen crept to the mouth of the cave, Theil perched quietly on her shoulder. She looked out and saw a boy with black hair and a girl with dark blue hair.
"Celeste," she whispered, "Over here."

Kumiko sighed, looking inside of the cave. " Do you hear voices, Richard? I do! " She exclaimed, peering inside of the cave. " Come on out! We shall not harm you! " Triesha hopped onto a rock, next to Kumiko, her tails spreading out.

Theil (Ruwen's goldfinch) flew out to meet Kumiko and Triesha. He fluttered in front of Kimiko's face and chirped a greeting to her, looking at her and the boy curiously.

Kumiko smiled, greeting him back with a whistle. Triesha looked at Ruwen, gesturing her to come out. Kumiko then whistled a bird song, beckoning Theil to join in. Triesha laughed at this, watching them curiously.

Ruwen look apprehensive but slowly edged her way out of the cave to Kumiko and Richard. Theil perched on his human's shoulder and whistled along with Kumiko's song. Ruwen swallowed.

Kumiko smiled at her. " Hi! I'm Kumiko! This is Triesha! That's moody Richard. " Kumiko smiled. " What's your name? " She asked curiously. Triesha sighed at how many questions Kumiko probably has.
