Xander continued to purr as Kayven curled up to him, his tail moved idly, "And you think you might feel something like that towards me?"
Noelle remained sound asleep.

"...Would you be mad if I said yes?" Kayven asked, innocent and worried. He looked down so he wouldn't see Xander's face.

Xander watched the stripey male for a moment, then purred and shifted slightly, his tail swished a little restlessly now, "I'm not mad at you, Kayven. If anything, I suppose I should be flattered."
He pressed his nose against the top of Kayven's head and continued to purr.
Noelle was still asleep.

Kayven cuddled with Xander, purring back gently.
"Go back to sleep, I'm alright," he said, "Thank you, Xander. Thank you for understanding."

Xander moved one of his paws to drape it over Kayven's back as he licked at the stripey male's ears, "I can stay awake a while longer, we haven't seen each other in a while."
Noelle stayed asleep.

Kayven smiled and stayed close to Xander, snuggling with him.
"Let's lay with Noelle, alright?" he asked gently, "I don't wish for her to get cold."

Xander was quiet for a moment, then nodded and stood up, his tail swished back and forth, "Alright."
He walked over to Noelle and nuzzled her head before circling her until he lay down, curled around her as he licked at her ears.
Noelle's nose twitched and she curled into her father's warmth.

Kayven followed, circling around Noelle and Xander and laying down with them. He placed his head towards the den entrance so he could continue to keep watch, but added his warmth to the tiny knopfleri and his best friend. He licked Xander's back tenderly.

Xander had his eyes closed but was still awake, his ears twitched from time to time.
Noelle sighed in her sleep and curled up into a little ball.

Kayven yawned and kept watch, resting his head on Xander's back.
The next morning dawned bright and chilly, the sun lighting the opening of the den. Kayven stretched, getting the kinks out of his spine.

Xander's ears twitched and he opened one eye to look around. Finding nothing was wrong, he opened his other eyes and checked on Noelle, he licked her forehead briefly as his tail swished around.
Noelle was still asleep but stirred slightly.

Kayven shook his head, his ears flopping gently and rubbed at his eyes.
"Good morning," he said, yawning again.

"Morning," Xander replied, still partly asleep as he look about. He groomed his front paws for a moment, then licked at Noelle again. His tail swished about idly.
Noelle rolled over onto her back, her tail flicked slightly but she was still sleeping.

Kayven chuckled, thinking that Noelle was so adorable, and went to the entrance of the den. He looked around, his ears twitching as he listened.

Xander stretched out and lay on his side, watching Noelle and Kayven while he tried to wake himself up a bit.
Noelle yawned and rolled over again.
